Barrel Aged Imperial Spiced Brown Ale with Vanilla, Cinnamon, Brown Sugar, Cardamom, Ginger, and Milk Sugar - 10.5% ABV

Months before the release of Special Cookie last fall, we brewed a small batch destined for barrel aging. In all, this beer spent the better part of the last half year in an array of seasoned rum barrels with these confectionary spices. The final product imparts warm vanilla and caramel character, swirled with notes of a bake shop around the holidays, speculoos cookies, and molasses.
